Communication and promotion of Italian Food



Stuzzica aims to combine culture with the promotion of Italian excellent food.

It is a contact area between curious people, professionals, companies and excellent quality food products. It has the ambition to provide the most comprehensive overview on the subject.


The Food Guide

Main element of the guide is the product. This card contains information and content related to the product.

The Guide contains over 280 cards of Italian products certified at European level with the different quality marks: PDO (Protected Designation of Origin), PGI (protected geographical indication), TSG (traditional specialty guaranteed). These products are considered high quality and excellence. They are subject to specific production rules and control by the public authorities.

In addition, the Guide contains more than 5,000 cards on traditional agricultural food products registered by the Ministry of Agriculture in collaboration with the Italian regions. The requirement to be recognized as traditional agricultural food product Foodstuffs is: "to be obtained with processing methods, storage and maturation consolidated over time, homogeneous throughout the territory concerned, according to traditional rules, for a period not less than twenty-five years "

It contains a selection of the major food producers freely searchable by region and product type.


Restaurant guide

The Restaurant Guide aims to identify and select restaurants that serve traditional Italian dishes using Italian excellent food products.


The Cookbook

The Cookbook provides instructions on how to prepare and enjoy the best dishes of the Italian tradition. You can find a variety of recipes ranging from those found in Pellegrino Artusi's book, "The Science of Cooking and the Art of Fine dining", to regional recipes.
